UPDATE (05/07): Nike has officially unveiled its latest collaboration with Jun Takahashi's Undercover.

Stay tuned as more images and information become available. Look for the Undercover x Nike Daybreak collection to release in Summer 2019 for $160 each. Men's options include "Black/White/Summit White," "Blue Jay/Summit White/Black," and "Bright Citron/Black/Summit White." Women will get to choose between "Black/Black/Sail," "Lucky Green/University Red/Sail," "Obsidian/Gold Dart/Sail," and "University Red/Black/Spruce Aura" color schemes. Undercover branding is stamped on the lateral midsole and tongue tag.Īccording to seven pairs are slated to release: three for men and four for women. The rest of the sneaker maintains its traditional nylon upper with suede overlays.

The model itself appears to be a revised take on 1979's Nike Tailwind that first surfaced back in June at Undercover's Spring/Summer 2019 show at Paris Fashion Week. A speckled, plastic heel piece has been added to the design that gives the pair a more futuristic appearance. Thanks to Twitter, there is now new information regarding the Undercover x Nike Daybreak collection. Since the release of its highly-anticipated collection of Nike React Element 87s last September, Jun Takahashi's Undercover has debuted a handful of other collaborative projects on the runway to expect in the near future.
